Vontu runs vontu.ai. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
- The demo on our home page. When you type a business name, what it does and where, we keep those three details and the date. We use them to check how that business shows up on Google and in AI answers, and we may contact the business about what we find, using its published business phone number or email.
- Enquiry forms. Your name, business, website, email, team size and anything else you choose to tell us.
- Workshops and clients. Contact and billing details needed to deliver and invoice our work.
- Website analytics. How people use the site (pages visited, device, rough location), collected through Vercel Web Analytics, which does not use cookies.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and deliver our services.
- To contact businesses about how they show up on Google and in AI answers.
- To send you occasional tips, only if you ticked the box. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To improve the site.
We don't sell your information. We don't put what you give us into AI tools that train on it.
Who we share it with
Only the services we use to run the business, such as Vercel (website hosting and analytics), Resend (delivering form submissions to our inbox) and Google (email). Some of them store data outside Australia, including in the United States.
Contacting you and opting out
If we contact your business and you'd rather we didn't, tell us once and we won't contact you again. You can also email hello@vontu.ai at any time.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing hello@vontu.ai. If you're not happy with how we handle a complaint, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Keeping it safe
We keep information only as long as we need it, and protect it with access controls and reputable providers.
